A tribute to the superstars of country music. Presented by Village Concerts Association.
Join us at the Woodlands Auditorium for one of the HSV Players’ funniest productions, Grumpy Old Men – the Musical is a hilarious and heartwarming story about two aging neighbors, Max and John, who have spent most of their lives feuding. When a beautiful, eccentric, and charming woman named Ariel moves in across the street, both men compete for her attention and their rivalry grows into a full-blown comedic battle of wills. Based on the 1993 film starring Jack Lemmon, Walter Matthau, and Ann-Margret, this stage adaptation captures the lovably crotchety characters through twinkling humor, catchy songs, set in a small town that feels like home to everyone. The book is by Dan Remmes, music by Neil Berg and lyrics by Nick Meglin.
