HSV Rotary Charity Corporation brings back The World-Famous Glenn Miller Orchestra for our First Annual “1945 – From Here On” Victory Day Dance along with Frank Sinatra tribute artist Derek Evilsizor. Considered one of the greatest bands of all time, The Glenn Miller Orchestra is the most sought-after big band for both concerts and swing engagements in the world – their musical genre defined the era of swing and has stood the test of time with their “timeless” sounds. Come, listen, or swing dance the night away while enjoying a world-class orchestra performance and the entertaining, serenading voice of Frank Sinatra tribute artist Derek Evilsizor.

Join us at The Woodlands Auditorium for a live Performance from the famous Branson band, The Petersens. The Petersens are an American roots music band known for taking the music of the Ozarks to the world and bringing the world to come visit them in the Ozarks. They have toured throughout Ireland, Finland, Canada, Germany, UK and the United States, entertaining audiences with their tight harmonies and warm sibling humor.

The Petersens went viral online in 2019 when their YouTube videos gained international attention and have now reached over 200 million views. The band consists of four siblings, Katie, Ellen, Matt, and Julianne, their mom, Karen, and honorary Petersen and dear friend, Emmett Franz. Tickets are general admission. Free Event! The best of Arkansas’s youth will be returning to the Woodlands stage for a concert. The Arkansas Symphony Orchestra Youth and Academy Orchestras will perform their annual concert on April 28, 2024 at 3:00 PM at the Woodlands Auditorium. The concert is sponsored by the HS/HSV Symphony Guild. There is no charge for this concert. However, if you are coming to the concert from outside the Village, you will need a ticket to gain gate access. You can obtain this ticket on this website. If you are going to attend and you live in the Village, there is no need to print a ticket. Please join us for a delightful afternoon of excellent orchestra music.

William Shakespeare’s “A Midsummer Night’s Dream”. A classical ballet production as tradionally derived from the16th century. This production showcases professional ballet artist supporting semi-pro and local dancers. In the 1960s the wine industry was reinvigorated. Now there are 725 wineries and more than 1000 vineyards. Although Oregon is the 5^th largest producer of wine, Oregon wineries only produces 1% of wine in American. On the night that we celebrate excellent wine you will enjoy a fine cuisine prepared by Malinda’s. On Thursday, May 30, 2024, The Entertainment Foundation and Lifelong Learning Institute will present its fourth and final show of the 2024 Raising the Curtain series.  Stacey Whitton Summers, who hails from Reno, Nevada, will showcase her many talents as an actress, vocalist, and tribute artist by paying tribute to Marilyn Monroe, Shania Twain, and Pat Benatar! Show begins at 7 PM at the Woodlands Auditorium. Presenting sponsors are Benjamin Franklin Plumbing and Village Home Care.

 Stacey was cast in the world renowned Legends In Concert as well as performed in her one woman show. She has used her talents in makeup/wig design, comedy, and voice manipulation to recreate icons for stage and television. Stacey has starred on many TV shows along with appearing as a featured artist on over 40 variety shows. Stacey tours internationally and has received media praise from around the world. She has spent the last decade in Las Vegas where Shania Twain herself paid a visit to the Vegas strip to see Stacey perform! She is a seasoned professional in many genres of music, releasing four of her own CDs.

Call your insurance provider or representative and ask if they participate in gym membership program or stop by the Fitness Center for assistance.

What’s next?

Bring your fitness identification number provided by your insurance company, your POA card and insurance card to the Fitness Center. Fill out application enrollment form with waiver and you are good to go!

How can you help us keep the Fitness Center operating?

SHOW UP!!! The Fitness Center only obtains income from the program if you come to the Center and swipe your card. The POA receives $3.75 per visit for a maximum of 12 visits per month. If you do not show up, the Fitness Center does not get paid. Enrolling in the program is only the beginning. Showing up will not only give you the benefits of a healthy lifestyle but you will be assuring the continued availability of this great POA amenity.
